Please note, Summer season is for ages 7-17 ONLY.  Athletes must turn 7 prior to June 1, 2024. If you register an athlete that is under the age requirement the registration will not be accepted. 

BEFORE REGISTERING PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMODATE SPECIFIC TEAMMATE REQUESTS, OUTSIDE OF DIRECT SIBLINGS. (Cousins, friends, neighbors, carpools, etc. are NOT considered direct siblings)

Welcome to NBNSA 2024 INAUGURAL Summer Basketball Season! We are thrilled to be kicking off this summer season in our BRAND NEW 3 court facility, located in Hockessin (only about 10 minutes from our old location in Wilmington).

The NBNSA Summer Basketball League will run from June 10th through August 17th, for boys and girls (ages 7-17). Summer season will be played on weekdays only (no weekends). All ages will practice &/or play twice a week. Some of the days are practices and some are games. You will get confirmation of this when the rosters are available. All games and practices will be held at NBN Sports Academy located at 4101 Newport Gap Pike Wilmington, DE 19808. 

NBNSA focuses on growth & development, while maintaining the competitive nature of the game of basketball. While all of our athletes will play every game, it is important to understand that we do not enforce equal playing time.

All communication for our program is done through the free mobile app called Sports Engine. To get access to this app, please go to your phone's play store and download the Sports Engine App. Once downloaded on your mobile device, you will use the same email & password you created or used when completing this online registration. Your child's team, roster, group chat & schedule will be available through this app once our assessments are complete. We will upload the information behind the scenes, which will automatically populate in your Sports Engine app. You will get an email a few days after assessments, advising you that rosters are available and that is when you will be able to see your child's team and information. (IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST use the same email & password you used when completing this registration, otherwise you will not have access to the information we upload)

Practice and game schedules vary by age group and are NOT the same time/day each week. Our tentative summer season schedule for each age group is as follows (please note we say tentative, as things may change as more athletes register to play):

7-10 Years - Mondays & Wednesdays
11-13 Years - Tuesdays & Thursdays
14+ Years - Fridays ONLY (This group will play 2 games back-to-back each Friday)

The cost is $165 per player. There is a $10 sibling discount that will be applied at the end if registering siblings. The cost to play includes a jersey, which every athlete is expected to wear at every game, otherwise they cannot play. We make no exceptions to this rule, so once jerseys are handed out, please be sure they wear them to game days.
